Outreach

We organize events to introduce microfluidics to a new generation of students including lectures and hands-on workshops on and off-campus. During the summer, we run a summer research program for local community college students.

The Fordyce Lab directs the Stanford Microfluidics Foundry. For information about the facility, please check out our web page here: https://www.stanfordmicrofluidics.com/

Training

This facility is open to any researcher at Stanford that wants to learn how to design and fabricate microfluidic devices. For information about facility access and training, contact Dr. Jennifer Ortiz Cardenas!

TEACHING

We host the graduate-level class BIOE301D: Microfluidics Device Design Lab during the Winter quarter. We solicit project proposals from bioscience labs during the Fall. Stay tuned!
